Cassidy joined Overseas Program in 2022. She supports students who plan to study abroad for a semester or summer throughout the application and pre-departure process. She oversees the Study Abroad 101 Pre-Departure course and works with the Overseas Programs team to develop a variety of events and programs. Cassidy also works with Arts & Sciences faculty plan and implement international experiences for their students.
Cassidy holds a Ph.D. in French Literature from WashU. She started her career in international education in 2018 when she served as a study abroad advisor at the University of Missouri – St. Louis. Throughout her time as both a student and educator Cassidy has had the opportunity to study abroad and lead a variety of programs in France, Spain, and China.
Cassidy enjoys reading, crocheting, exploring new places, and all things Star Wars. Most of her time outside of work is spent with her husband, two children and her pet rabbit. The family has a tradition of collecting ornaments from each new place they visit.
